Week after week, Joe Mills picks up truckloads of food, stocks shelves and carries bags of groceries for people who may otherwise go hungry. Mills, a former lieutenant for the Fire Department of New York City, is the volunteer manager at the Good Will Food Pantry in Montgomery. He retired a year after Sept. 11, 2001.
