United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region presents a Community Conversation Around Substance Abuse Prevention on Thursday, January 4th 

The program will feature a keynote address by Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler, Esq.

 

 

A panel discussion, facilitated by United Way Community Impact Committee member Christie VanHorne M ED, MPH will include: Jim Conklin, CASAC, CPP, Executive Director, The Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Council; Rachel Evans, LCSW-R, Manager of Community Engagement, Montefiore Hudson Valley Collaborative; Darcie Miller, LCSW-R, Commissioner of Social Services and Mental Health, Orange County; Elaine Trumpetto, M.A., Executive Director, The Council on Addiction Prevention & Education of Dutchess County, Inc.; Michele Tugade, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Vassar College; and Dawn Wilkin, CPS, Assistant Director of Prevention Services, Catholic Charities Community Services of Orange & Sullivan. The discussion will be followed by focus groups facilitated by United Way members of United Way’s Community Impact Council.
