YLU Holiday Happy Hour - Volunteer Recognition

Please come out and join your friends at United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region for the annual YLU Annual Holiday Happy Hour & Volunteer Recognition Celebration. As a special thank you for all the hard work you've done, we are pleased to invite you to join us and members of Young Leaders United at Mill House Brewing Company on Thursday, December 14th from 5 to 8pm. Together we can celebrate the hard work and success of our volunteers, since together we LIVE UNITED!

The YLU Holiday Happy Hour is sponsored by Saint Mark AME Zion Church, Heckeroth Plumbing, Marist College, Nubian Directions and RBT CPAs, LLP and admission is free (light refreshments provided, cash bar). 

Everyone is asked to bring a gift card from a local supermarket (Adams Fairacre Farms, Hannaford, Price Chopper, Stop & Shop) that will be donated to local families in need. Last year, Young Leaders raised more than $1000 in donated gift cards at the holiday party. These were then given to both the Poughkeepsie and Newburgh Housing Authorities for distribution to families in need. 

This year, we're combining the Volunteer Recognition Mixer with our YLU Holiday Happy Hour for a fun filled evening. We hope all those who have dedicated time, talent and treasure to the ensure our community is stronger and healthier will attend on December 14th.

We invite you to join us to congratulate the members of Young Leaders for their dedication to our community and their work on behalf of United Way. You'll also have a chance to learn more about this great group of motivated young professionals.
