Julia Kammerer is the Community Investment Program Specialist at the Dutchess County Department of Planning & Development. In this role, she administers and coordinates the activities and services of Dutchess County’s Community Investment Programs, including the Agency Partner Grant and Municipal Investment Grant programs. She has been volunteering with the United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region since 2012, when she became a member of Young Leaders United, now known as Emerging Leaders United. Julia holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Marist College and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from James Madison University. She was named the 2018 Woman of the Year by the Junior League of Poughkeepsie and is a 2014 recipient of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce's Forty Under 40 Award. She is a lifelong resident of Dutchess County. Julia and her husband, Sean, are the proud parents of two beautiful girls.
