On Friday, June 21st from 12 noon to 4 pm, United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region will be partnering with HRH Care Community Health and the New York State Department of Health to offer free community health screenings at the Family Partnership Center (29 N. Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie).
According to the CDC, Americans use preventative health services at about half the recommended rate. Be proactive--take control of your health this summer through this great community resource! Help us keep Poughkeepsie city residents healthy, a few routine tests today can make a big difference tomorrow.
Be a role model for the next generation by showing them how important health is. Can’t find a babysitter? No worries, free child care will be provided while you get your screening. Community organizations will be providing information about their resources, and there will be giveaways including gift cards, goodie bags, refreshments, and a drawing for a bike and bike helmets!
HRH Care Community Health will be distributing free Narcan Kits on a first-come, first-served basis.
