United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region Video Takes Bronze in 34th Annual Telly Awards

United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region’s Annual Campaign video was named the winner of a Bronze Award in the 34th Annual Telly Awards in the nonprofit fundraising category.

The video was produced by a production team made up of Ellenbogen Group Inc. of Kingston, Toolbelt Media Inc. of Hopewell Junction and D/J Brush Associates of Poughkeepsie. The video was shot by award-winning cinematographer Zoltan David.

The Telly Awards, founded in 1979, is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. The 34th annual competition drew nearly 11,000 in numerous broadcast, nonbroadcast and online categories from all 50 states and numerous countries. Winners represent the work of advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments throughout the world.

A panel over 500 industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly, judged the competition. The entries did not compete against each other but were judged against a high standard of merit to recognize distinction in creative work. Approximately 25 percent of entries were chosen as winners of the Bronze Telly, and less than 10 percent were chosen winners of the Silver Telly, its highest honor.
