Community Heroes Project Free Training Session
Using the train-the-trainer model, the Community Heroes Project will guide veterans and family members to address their community most pressing issues through developing a local project to strengthen the community. Training at Dutchess Community College on March 17, 24, 31.
Military families receive FREE training to become volunteer leaders, addressing key issues in their community. Through United Way’s MISSION UNITED™ we fight for those who fought for us.

REQUIREMENTS
- Attendance at three sessions totaling 10 hours of Volunteer Leader Training
- Two hours of community service
- Participation in the service project designed by the team
