The SNAP Lifeline is Broken.

Our Neighbors Need Us NOW.

Starting November 1st, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)—the single most effective tool against hunger—is being suspended for an estimated 3 million people in New York, including children and senior citizens. This isn't a future threat; it is an immediate collapse of the food safety net.

On average, families will instantly lose over $187 per month for groceries. This loss is devastating, forcing parents to make impossible, heartbreaking choices:

  • Food or Rent?
  • Groceries or Essential Medicine?
  • A Full Meal for a Child, or a Meal for the Parent?

This crisis will not just impact the families who rely on SNAP; it will crush the local food banks and community pantries that are already operating at capacity. We cannot stress this enough: Our current resources cannot handle this tsunami of need. The charitable food system is designed to supplement, not replace, a program that serves 1 in 8 Americans.

Your Donation is the Emergency Bridge

We need to establish an emergency fund to procure grocery cards for those who have recently lost their primary means of supporting their families. Every dollar you give will go directly towards cards for our seniors, veterans, and children who suddenly have nowhere else to turn.

SNAP may be gone for now, but your compassion can fill the void.

DONATE NOW.

FEED A FAMILY TODAY.

  • $50 provides essential grocery items to a senior who has just lost their benefits.
  • $100 helps keep a child from going hungry for a week.
  • $250 fuels our emergency response, delivering food cards where they're needed most.

DONATE NOW AND PREVENT THE WORST HUNGER CRISIS IN DECADES.
