Involving new employees in your campaign can be a great way for them to quickly feel like a part of the team. Make sure to:

  • Introduce the campaign: Explain what the campaign and how it aligns with the organization's values and mission
  • Provide information: Give new employees all the information they need to join the campaign, including any relevant dates, pledge forms, e-pledge site link and United Way informational material
  • Make it clear it's optional: Let new employees know that joining the campaign is entirely voluntary and they are free to decline if they wish
  • Follow up: Make sure to follow up with new employees and answer any questions they may have
