Rebecca Reynolds, CPA, MBA

Rebecca Reynolds is a Partner in the Audit Department at RBT CPAs, LLP where she has been a valued member since 2014. She holds both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA from Mount Saint Mary College and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York State.

A partner at RBT since 2023, Rebecca brings demonstrated expertise in accounting, auditing, and advisory services. While she is recognized as a not-for-profit specialist, she has developed an expertise across a range industries, including healthcare, not-for-profits, manufacturing, construction, financial services and insurance, and professional services. She specializes in audit planning and management, accounting research and compliance, complex accounting transactions, internal control assessments, inventory observations and costing, and delivering board-level financial presentations.  Additionally, Rebecca provides consulting services to clients, helping them enhance operational efficiencies and financial best practices. She is also an experienced trainer, conducting both internal CPE sessions and training sessions tailored to clients’ specific needs.

Rebecca has played an instrumental role in growing the non-profit line of business at RBT. She was also recently tasked with overseeing the implementation of a new cloud-based audit software, successfully converting several hundred audit engagements, which enhanced the firm's efficiency and technological capabilities.

Rebecca is an active member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), where she serves on the Not-for-Profit Committee, and she is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Katelyn Tymczyszyn, CPA 

Katelyn joined RBT in 2020 after many years in the private sector. She brings extensive knowledge and expertise in non-profit accounting, reporting, and management from the client perspective to her work in the audit department. As an Audit Manager, Katelyn works with a wide range of both non-profit and for-profit clients across various industries. Her experience includes planning and managing audit engagements and teams, presenting audit results to Boards of Directors, evaluating internal controls, and providing consulting services to non-profit organizations.

Maureen Fox

Maureen Fox

 Co-president of the Professionals of the Lower Hudson 

Maureen has spent her career dedicated to improving the communities in which she lived and worked, through raising funds and awareness for many important causes. Maureen began her career as a paralegal in the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office where she worked on her first RFP/grant on reducing recidivism. She has written and secured hundreds of grants throughout her career and advised on many more. However, she considers herself a generalist, having successfully designed and executed many fundraising events, built major and planned giving donor relationships and worked on capital campaigns.  She is currently her own boss, taking on a variety of contractual assignments.  Maureen is co-president of the Grant Professionals of the Lower Hudson and grateful for the support and learning opportunities provided by GPLH and its members.
