Phillip Lekanides is the VP and Controller for Rhinebeck Bank, a local community bank that has served the Hudson Valley for over 160 years. Prior to VP and Controller, Phillip held roles in Residential Mortgage Lending and Financial Planning and Analysis at Rhinebeck Bank. Phillip is a driven community volunteer and advocate for poverty alleviation, financial literacy, and access to affordable owner-occupied housing. Phillip holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University; a Master’s in Business Administration from Marist College and a Master’s in Accounting from UConn. In addition to his role on the United Way Board, Phillip is the Vice President of the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County, a prior chair of United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region’s Young Leaders United and a 2019 recipient of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce's Forty Under 40 Award.
